About Us
We are your heart dogs first home.

Silver Pines Pups began after an close friend had an accident that resulted in a search for a suitable service dog. We realized the unique challenges that come both financially as well as finding a candidate and decided to focus our program on developing a specific set of qualities within our lines to consistently produce the highest quality family companions, as well as service and therapy candidates that could be owner train prospects.

Mia, our first Golden Retriever, embodied the best of those qualities; she was a heart dog...
...the type of dog that would give you her all, who loved with every fiber of her being, who was eager to please and quick to learn...

These are the qualities we seek to pass on in our pups. Health, Temperament and Intelligence are our core values brought together with a service dog starter curriculum that utilizes a scientifically backed, 100 hour handling, training, and socialization course during the first 8 formative weeks to set your puppy up with a solid foundation.

We are passionate about what we do; Connecting heart dogs with their humans and setting up our families with the resources they need to have a successful and enjoyable relationship with their forever companion.

Our Mission
Here at Silver Pines Pups, we are committed to breeding quality Goldendoodles, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds for service work, and great family companions. We selectively choose our dogs to uphold the highest standards of temperament, health, and intelligence and undergo many hours of training, even in their early weeks, to develop well rounded puppies. All our pups are raised in our home and participate in over 100 hours of handling, socialization, and training foundations. They live side by side with kids, cats, and dogs to ensure they go home with a solid social foundation. We work with our pups to expose them to a variety of environments such as water, loud noises, different surfaces, and stimulating toys to give them the best opportunities to grow into secure and confident adult dogs. Each of our pups come with a lifetime breeder commitment; our investment is in the LIFE of the dog, not just the first 8 weeks. We are dedicated to helping you find the best match for your family and lifestyle needs, and committed to the follow through in the years to come.
